Craftsmen: Skillfully Leading Your Family For Christ

Men are to be leaders in their homes.  Learning how to do this biblically is a serious pursuit.  In the ten chapters of this book, the author turns to Proverbs to develop some basic principles for the family.

Mr. Crotts devotes three chapters to aspects of biblical wisdom.  Succeeding chapters show how to apply wisdom to vital areas of life such as the work ethic, discernment, speech, the marital relationship, and pride.  A final chapter provides sources of wisdom to which men can turn.

As a pastor, the author is keenly aware that many young men need guidance in basic principles of male leadership.  He writes with brevity, clarity, commitment to biblical truth, and insight.  These qualities make this book useful for the new Christian or for one who has a shallow understanding of God’s Word.  Additionally,  the mature Christian will benefit from reviewing  subjects that perplex men throughout life.  All believers must be driven back to scripture and can read this work with profit.

Chapters conclude with review questions as well as questions that force the reader to make personal applications.  This work is practical and helpful.
